The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) organization is seeking a motivated and talented Workforce Development Manager in its Chief Engineers office to support the development design and integration of Workforce engagement and growth initiatives located in Seattle WA; Berkeley MO; El Segundo CA; Huntsville AL; North Charleston SC; Oklahoma City OK; Ridley Park PA; Seal Beach CA; or Mesa AZ.
Position responsibilities:
Collaborate with functional leaders HR and program leaders to proactively identify the critical workforce requirements necessary to execute the business
Lead and facilitate workforce planning initiatives including but not limited to critical role/capability identification skill health gap analysis risk analysis and action planning
Design and lead engineering staffing strategies across multiple functions to help engineering teams build a diverse pipeline of ready talent
Establish a data-driven planning process for better decision making and to better forecast changes to support demand planning action planning supply analytics and gap analysis
Track analyze and provide reports to measure the effectiveness of staffing strategies and to drive continuous improvement
Continuously assess existing workforce plans to ensure practical business alignment and lead cross-functional teams in the design of alternative approaches
Excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise way to a variety of audiences
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring teams discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
3 years of experience in a lead role as either a team-builder or a team-leader
Test and evaluation experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Proven ability to embrace change and lead continuous improvement
Experience leading and/or managing complex projects
Willingness and ability to manage ambiguity and turn it into action
Experience communicating effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and process improvements
