Join Our Team as a Mold Setter at Johnson Electric!

Location: Springfield TN (onsite)
Schedule: Full-time

As our next Mold Setter youll be responsible for mold setups changes and preventative maintenance on a variety of plastic injection molds (30 to 650 tons). Your expertise in injection molding and mechanical systems will be key to ensuring optimal production and product quality.

What Youll Be Doing:

Set up and monitor mold operations to meet customer requirements
Safely change molds using overhead cranes
Perform job changeovers and prepare machines for production
Make hydraulic water and electrical connections
Start up machines and inspect parts for quality
Adjust processes to meet specifications
Troubleshoot and keep machines running during shift
Handle raw and finished material movement
Complete required paperwork and record process settings

What Were Looking For:

High school diploma
12 years of manufacturing experience (preferably in injection molding)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (walking bending etc.)
Visual acuity to detect defects and color variations
Safe work practices in a production environment
Experience operating molding machines robots forklifts and cranes
Strong problem-solving and mechanical skills
Knowledge of electrical hydraulic and fluid power systems
Effective communication and math skills

Bonus Points If You Have:

Technical certifications in molding or mechanical systems
Experience with process documentation and optimization
Familiarity with 6S and lean manufacturing principles
