Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Servers Administrator to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a crucial member of our IT infrastructure team you will be responsible for managing maintaining and optimising our server environment to ensure smooth operations and maximum efficiency.
- Design implement and maintain server infrastructure including physical and virtual environments
- Configure and manage Windows and Linux servers ensuring optimal performance and security
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data
- Monitor server performance troubleshoot issues and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime
- Manage and optimise cloud services including Azure and AWS platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain documentation for server configurations processes and procedures
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect server infrastructure from threats
- Perform regular system updates and patches to ensure server stability and security
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in server administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server operating systems
- Proficiency in managing virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Hyper-V)
- Experience with cloud services particularly Azure and AWS
- Expertise in networking protocols and configurations
- Strong understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance requirements
- Relevant certifications such as MCSE RHCE or CompTIA Server are highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in both Arabic and English
- Must be a Saudi national
