Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior COBOL Developer to join our team in maintaining and evolving critical legacy systems. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in COBOL technologies and a passion for delivering robust and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using COBOL DB2/SQL JCL and CICS COBOL Online (including screens and maps).
Perform system analysis and design to ensure efficient and scalable solutions.
Conduct program unit testing and system integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Handle sequential file processing and batch operations.
Utilize development tools such as Visual COBOL and Eclipse.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Contribute to technical documentation and promote best development practices.

Qualifications :

Minimum 7 years of programming experience in COBOL DB2/SQL JCL CICS COBOL Online and sequential file handling.
Over 5 years of experience in system analysis and design.
Proven experience with Visual COBOL and Eclipse development tools.
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting is a plus.
Strong experience in unit testing and system integration testing (minimum 5 years).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong communication skills and results-oriented mindset.
