Software Development Engineer I Angular

As a Software Development Engineer I youll contribute to the Product & Tech Team focusing on coding debugging and documentation.

Reporting to the Tech Lead youll adhere to engineering standards and strive to become a valuable team member.

What you will do

• Contribute to moderately complex stories with guidance from senior engineers.
• Assist in debugging and issue resolution under supervision.
• Apply Entains coding standards to your work.
• Ensure thorough testing and documentation of your code.
• Determine when to seek help versus working independently.
• Solve problems efficiently to meet deadlines.
• Participate actively in team meetings and processes.
• Embody Entain Values in your actions and interactions.
• Communicate problem understanding and proposed solutions effectively before making changes.

Qualifications :

• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript including the event loop.
• Proficiency in Angular or other major JavaScript frameworks.
• CSS styling skills; familiarity with CSS pre-processors is a plus.
• Experience with Angular CLI Nx and modern build tools.
• Solid foundation in data structures algorithms and design patterns.
• Experience in developing software for distributed systems.
• Ability to write clean high-quality code with modern technologies.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience in debugging version control and unit testing.
• Proficiency in using observability tools for troubleshooting.
• Proactive in continuous improvement and process optimization.
• Understanding of Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture.
