Job Summary
We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join our Business Unit Quay and Horizontal controlling team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate and/or person with 1-2 year working experience to join our team and support stakeholders globally.
You will be a member of a dynamic and improvement driven combined Business Unit Quay and Horizontal and Business Unit Yard financial team which is responsible for reporting the management and financial accounting numbers as well as supporting the local organization in financial topics especially working closely with Project management organization.
BU Quay and Horizontal is one of four key business units under Business Area Port Solutions alongside Yard Port Services and Lift Trucks in Konecranes.
As an Assistant Controller
- your work is combination of routine tasks related to projects financials monthly reporting process improvements and various analysis needed for the ad-hoc purposes.
- you will be taking care that the costs forecasts invoicing and payments and changes in the projects are handled timely and accurately and helping to develop the tools for both project managers and for controlling purpose.
- also you will have various monthly reporting tasks to support our Business Controllers.
Qualifications :
- Hands on proactive attitude.
- Ability to work in a team with people of different parts of the organization and different nationalities is essential.
- Master degree in Business Economics or Industrial Engineering & Management.
- As you will be working in an international environment excellent written and spoken English skills are required.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
- Work experience and knowledge of SAP OneStream or another group consolidation tool and/or Power BI are considered as an asset. Also advanced Excel skills are valued.
