A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As a Inventory Control Specialist at MKS Instruments you will partner with our warehouse department assisting in the shipment and receiving of this role you will report to the Supervisor Inventory Control.
You Will Make an Impact By:
Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure inventory accuracy
Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand and minimize stockouts
Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure compliance with company policies
Analyze inventory data and reports to identify trends discrepancies and opportunities for improvement
Update and maintain inventory records in the ERP system or inventory management software
Prepare and distribute regular inventory reports including inventory levels stock movements and aging analysis
Work closely with other departments such as Purchasing Logistics and Operations to coordinate inventory activities and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with inventory control procedures safety guidelines and regulatory requirements
Required Skills:
2 years of related experience
Completion of high school vocational training or equivalent is preferred
Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
Perform activities such as sitting standing or typing for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordination
Frequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below at and above shoulder level

Operates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing/warehousing environment

Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware high voltage gas water and heat
Noise level in the work environment is usually average
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position based on a wide range of factors including qualifications experience and training operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week including 11 paid holidays sick time and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
