Job Summary

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as an instructional assistant in a public school system or experience working with groups of children preferred.
  • Basic reading writing and computation skills; good written and oral communication skills; basic computer skills preferred.
  • Applicants must meet the requirements for a Title I paraprofessional including:
    • Must have a high school diploma or its recognized equivalentand
    • Must have metoneof the following options:
      • Completed two years of study (48 credit hours) at an institution of higher education;or
      • Holdan associates (or higher) degree;or
      • Have passed the Parapro Assessment through ETS.

Proof of highly qualified certification must be attached to your application to be considered for this position.

Pay Rate:

Instructional AssistantGrade C2b Salary Scale(credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)

Assignment:
Full time / 10 months / 183 days

Start Date:

This position is effective with the2025-2026school year.
