As a Direct Support Professional youll be a trusted presence in the lives of those we serve. Whether youre helping with day-to-day tasks or supporting a new life skill youll play a meaningful role in someones journey toward greater independence.
What Youll Do
- Support individuals with everyday activities such as meal preparation light housekeeping errands and personal hygiene routines.
- Take individuals on community outingswhether for appointments errands or just to enjoy the day.
- Track and document changes in overall health and behavior to support their care.
- Assist with medication reminders or administration when needed.
- Work collaboratively with a team of professionals to ensure comprehensive support.
What You Bring
- A caring heart and a commitment to helping others live with dignity and independence.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- A valid drivers license personal vehicle and insurance.
- Willingness to undergo a state and federal fingerprint background check.
- CPR Certification and a recent TB test (we can help you obtain both if needed).
- Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plusbut if you bring passion and dedication well provide the training.
