Job Summary

Flowserve is looking for a technically and commercially experienced salesperson in the office (Applications Engineer Pump Solution AM business). In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for Engineering and special applications.

You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales development and other specialist departments at the site.
This tasks include pump upgrades repair replacement and finding solutions to improve current installed FLS and competitor pumps.

Your role

Support of the defined customer in the office
Evaluation of requests generation of solution proposals
Cost calculation if necessary in cooperation with the relevant departments
Technical and commercial preparation of offers
Order acceptance review and preparation

Your profile

BS or BA Degree in Mechanical Chemical Petrochemical or Industrial Engineering
Ideally 2 years of experience as an Applications Engineer or similar role such as inside Sales Representative Engineer
Experience in dealing with common MS Office applications
Strong technician acumen and analytical thinking able to read and interpret technical data and translate to others
Carry out a sense of energy ownership and personal dedication to the work and overall work environment.
Good communication skills
Have strong self-motivation and drive to meet schedules

Preferred skills/experience

SAP knowledge
Spanish language knowledge
