Job Description
As a Program Director or Principal at The Menta Group you will support school-wide initiatives that focus on teacher development implementation of PBIS and Common Core Standards.
Only ONE of the following is required:
AZ Certified School Principal with a strong knowledge of Special Education/IEP process
AZ Certified LPC Licensed Professional Counselor
AZ Certified LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Responsibilties
- Provide leadership and direction in supporting students and staff
- Support school-wide initiatives in special education
- Drive change by working alongside staff and students to improve academic and behavioral achievement and support the overall learning environment
- Lead the school by building high performing teams and responsibly manage work and people while enlisting others in the school vision
- Promote the success of students by creating an instructional program that continually strives to improve teaching and learning
- Create and maintain a school environment that focuses on students and emphasizes high academic expectations a personal approach caring discipline and order
- Encourage professional development and effectively supervise teachers and staff in order to improve student learning and academic achievement
- Confer with students parents and staff to resolve issues and problems
Qualifications
- Only ONE of the following is required:
- AZ Certified School Principal with a strong knowledge of Special Education/IEP process or AZ Certified LPC Licensed Professional Counselor or AZ Certified LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- A strong knowledge of the PBIS model
- Knowledge of Common Core Standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively
- Ability to successfully handle multiple projects concurrently

About Harbourview Academy Phoenix
HarbourView Academy is a special education school in Phoenix that not only provides a rigorous education but also a temporary short-term placement called Alternative to Suspension (ATS) for students who would otherwise be suspended from their home schools.
The safe environment and special education curriculum in our Phoenix school reduces the number of out-of-school suspensions and provides support to help students reintegrate into their home schools successfully.
