Key Responsibilities
- Teaching and Planning: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Australian Curriculum ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for students.
- Biblical Perspective: Integrate Biblical principles and a Christian worldview into the curriculum fostering spiritual and moral development among students.
- Upholding College Values: Demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Oxley Christian College fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a well organised and positive classroom environment conducive to learning ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues parents and the broader school community to support the holistic development of students.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Education degree in Primary Education or a related field (with teaching qualifications).
- Experience teaching primary school students preferably in an Australian Curriculum based setting.
- Ability to teach from a Biblical perspective and integrate Christian values into teaching practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
