We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Generalist Classroom Teacher to join our Junior School (Prep Year 6) team.

We are looking for a teacher who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional education within a Christian environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Planning: Develop and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Australian Curriculum ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for students.
Biblical Perspective: Integrate Biblical principles and a Christian worldview into the curriculum fostering spiritual and moral development among students.
Upholding College Values: Demonstrate a strong commitment to upholding the values and ethos of Oxley Christian College fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Classroom Management: Maintain a well organised and positive classroom environment conducive to learning ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues parents and the broader school community to support the holistic development of students.

Requirements

Bachelor of Education degree in Primary Education or a related field (with teaching qualifications).
Experience teaching primary school students preferably in an Australian Curriculum based setting.
Ability to teach from a Biblical perspective and integrate Christian values into teaching practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
