As an E-Commerce Specialist I - Jewelry you will be responsible for working in the jewelry area to sort donated jewelry pieces and to identify their value for sale online. The E-Commerce Specialist I will utilize testing equipment and research skills to maximize online sales of jewelry for Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers.

The Goodwill Industries of the Southern Rivers Inc E-Commerce department is currently looking for a hard-working and dedicated E-Commerce Specialist I to work in the jewelry department of our E-commerce operations.
E-Commerce Specialist I responsibilities:
- Sort through bins of jewelry to determine condition value and acceptability
- Categorize jewelry pieces according to type (costume gold silver etc.)
- Operate equipment used for testing quality and value of each piece
- Place jewelry pieces in the correct location to ensure efficiency at the time of shipping or purging
- List and describe items to online platform with no errors
- Document items into inventory management system accurately
- Follow all audit standards to ensure compliance
- Work other areas of E-commerce as requested by leadership team
The E-commerce Specialist I is a full-time opportunity. Operating hours include Monday through Friday.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Prior experience in an e-commerce environment may be considered in lieu of education
- Basic reading writing and math skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and internet software
- Ability to operate a smartphone camera
- Experience selling online using eBay Amazon Shopify etc. preferred
- Experience in pricing and identifying jewelry preferred
