The BGS Operation Manager will support Manufacturing Repair and Overhaul Components based in Mesa Arizona. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines.

  • Develops and executes business plans policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Acquires resources provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes. Manages develops and motivates employees.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience working in a government Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) environment

  • 5 years of experience in management or relevant leadership experience

  • 5 years of experience with project management and the ability to self-manage projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • A Bachelors Degree or higher from an accredited course of study.

  • Military experience

  • Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint OneNote etc)

  • Experienced in using Boeing Problem Solving Model

  • 5 years of experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM)

  • 5 years of experience working with proposals

  • 5 years of experience working with AH-64 Apache flight control and drive components

  • Experience using Continuous Improvement practices and tools.

  • Experience working with external customers.

  • Ability to interface at all levels of an organization
