This pivotal role is accountable for translating project plans into physical outcomes owning floor-level production supporting teams and WBS reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring high performing production staff and supervisors including training and performance.
- Lead track and monitor reporting requirements including HSE and work-in-progress (WIP) data and WBS-level reporting.
- Monitor output and adjust processes to meet scope schedule and quality requirements.
- Optimise workflows and resource allocation to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
- Monitor and address any health and safety risks in the workplace.
- Lead safety initiatives manage regulatory requirements and ensure full compliance.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and resolve defects in collaboration with QA teams.
- Schedule resources and activities to coincide with forecasted metrics.
BE part of the solution
- A relevant trade qualification (Electrical / Diesel Mechanic) or university degree.
- Strong understanding of lean 6 sigma or kaizen-based manufacturing
- Leadership experience required and qualification desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Current Schedule 26 qualification or the ability to obtain it.
- Experienced in project design execution and defect management.
