About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join the schools Upper Key Stage 2 team from January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and forward-thinking staff body committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons to Year 6 pupils preparing them for senior school entrance exams and transition
- Foster a positive classroom culture that encourages curiosity independence and confidence
- Contribute to co-curricular activities and wider school life
- Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 ideally Year 6
- A formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g. PGCE)
- Experience in prep or independent school settings is desirable
- The legal right to work in the UK
