Job Summary
A high quality secondary school in Wakefield is recruiting a Design & Technology Teacher for January 2026. You will be teaching D&T (product design / resistant materials / graphics etc) across KS3 and KS4 with possibility of overseeing special projects or workshops.
Design & Technology Teacher required from January 2026
Full-time position in Wakefield in a well-rated school
Teach D&T across KS3 & KS4
This opportunity is for someone who loves making designing problem solving and enabling students to translate ideas into practical outcomes.
Experience and Qualifications
QTS with D&T / Engineering / Product Design specialism
Experience or strong training in secondary teaching especially in practical workshop contexts
Skilled in workshop safety CAD/CAM if applicable design thinking
Legal right to work in UK
