The Department
The Drama department is housed in a modern theatre complex that includes a black-box performance space drama studios and costume and prop workshops. Productions are a highlight of the school calendar with recent performances ranging from Shakespeare to contemporary musicals. Students also take part in the National Theatre Connections programme and regional drama festivals.
Collaboration is at the heart of the departments ethos. Teachers work closely with colleagues in Music and Dance and enrichment opportunities are vast including Drama Club technical theatre and student-led productions.
The Role
Youll teach Drama across Key Stages 34 with the possibility of A-Level teaching for the right candidate. Youll bring enthusiasm organisation and a passion for fostering student creativity and confidence.
