The New Business Director will leverage existing relationships in the pharmaceutical industry with US-based marketing professionals and procurement leads and to develop new relationships creating opportunities to sell the Atlantis Health patient support solution offering. The New Business Director should be self-motivated and confident at coordinating and contributing to written proposals including RFIs and RFPs preparing and delivering presentations and conducting sales negotiations. The ability to quickly assimilate new information in terms of disease knowledge and product expertise is essential. A customer-facing role and a high level of professionalism and presentation skills would be expected for this position.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Relationship Management
Leadership of the New Business Function within Atlantis Health US
Establishing and maintaining business relationships
Identifying and establishing key target opportunities for Atlantis Health US (US & Global)
Following up new business opportunities; planning and preparing of presentations
Development of customer specific solution and financial pricing
Develop a thorough understanding of clients brand key challenges positioning the market environment and marketing strategy
Creating written proposals and completion of RFPs
Briefing of business solution internally to Multi-Disciplinary Teams
Follow through of business win to contract negotiation and securing purchase order with AHUS management team
Reporting/Targets/Forecasting Sales
Reach agreed revenue target for the AHUS business (to be agreed with the US Country Manager)
Provide timely update presentations and lead the management reporting for the New Business Team as well as lead monthly team meetings to discuss objectives and activity
Preferred experience and skills
A thorough knowledge of the US pharmaceutical industry is essential
A good understanding of the evolving US health system is highly desirable
A broad understanding of multiple disease areas is required coupled with the ability to quickly learn about our specialized services and solutions.
