As an Operating Engineer you will be responsible for the operation inspection maintenance and repair of mechanical HVAC electrical and plumbing systems. You will work alongside a dedicated team of three engineers to ensure seamless facility performance and tenant satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks across building systems
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC electrical lighting plumbing and general building systems
Complete tenant service requests and document work through the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Assist with locksmith work painting pressure washing and water treatment
Respond to on-call emergencies or urgent maintenance needs including outside normal hours when necessary
Operate inspect and maintain control systems (DDC and pneumatic)
Adhere to all company and client safety protocols
Participate in ongoing training related to safety technical skills and operational best practices
Support special projects and other assigned tasks as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of experience in building maintenance HVAC plumbing electrical or related trades
Trade school union training military experience or college coursework is a plus
Universal CFC EPA Certification preferred or willingness to obtain within the first year (with company support)
Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools: Outlook Word Excel and Teams
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders up to 30 feet
Capable of frequent physical activity including climbing bending kneeling and lifting
Strong customer service and communication skills
