Shift: 7:00 AM 3:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians to provide high-quality care to patients. As a PRN LPN you will work flexible shifts as needed ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of RNs and doctors.
Monitor patients vital signs including blood pressure temperature pulse and respiration rates.
Assist with daily living activities (bathing dressing feeding etc.) for patients who require additional help.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed.
Document patient care activities and any changes in condition.
Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members.
Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
Assist in coordinating care plans for patients under the supervision of RNs and physicians.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervising healthcare professionals.

Required Qualifications:

Current and valid LPN license in the state of Connecticut.
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
CPR/BLS certification required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
