Our client is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join their dedicated care team in Kansas City MO supporting patients in the local and surrounding areas. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to provide comfort and quality end-of-life care in patients homes while collaborating with a supportive and professional team.
Responsibilities include managing and delivering individualized care plans conducting patient assessments administering medications documenting care accurately and ensuring all charting deadlines are met. The nurse will coordinate with an interdisciplinary hospice team to provide compassionate support to patients and families.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Includes rotating on-call nights and weekends plus two holidays per year.
Travel: Local travel required.
Required qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri Kansas or a valid RN Compact License

Associate degree or higher in Nursing

Minimum of two years of RN experience (Hospice experience preferred)

Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as TruChart

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification

Valid drivers license reliable transportation and auto insurance
