Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Developer with at least 8 years of hands-on expertise in full-stack development specializing in User Interface (UI) and/or Database Management Systems (DBMS). The ideal candidate will also have proven experience in mentoring junior developers supporting troubleshooting and system optimization and applying advanced knowledge in business systems analysis data modeling and modern development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a technical lead in the design development and implementation of complex applications.
Lead and participate in UI/UX development or DBMS design depending on project needs.
Apply advanced knowledge of business systems analysis data analysis and data modeling techniques.
Provide assistance and technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers.
Support debugging system performance tuning and problem resolution across development teams.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective technical solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation including technical specifications and system architecture diagrams.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 8 years of hands-on software development experience.
Active CompTIA Security certification (must be current).
Proven core expertise in either:
User Interface development (e.g. React Angular ) or
Database Management Systems (e.g. Oracle PostgreSQL SQL Server MySQL).

Strong experience in one or more of the following:

Business systems analysis and design
Data analysis and modeling
UI/UX tools and design frameworks
DBMS design and optimization
Demonstrated experience in mentoring and providing training to junior developers.
Experience with debugging tools and performance tuning techniques.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience supporting federal clients or government systems.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and NIST security controls.
Experience with cloud environments such as AWS Azure or GCP.
