Job Summary

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing control systems for various engineering projects. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles along with proficiency in programming and system design. The Controls Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation technologies.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing control systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams on project scheduling to ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
  • Create and review schematics CAD drawings and mechanical designs using SolidWorks Creo and other design tools.
  • Apply GD&T principles to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize MATLAB Simulink LabVIEW and Arduino for system design and simulation purposes.
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to validate mechanical designs against ASME codes & standards.
  • Work on CNC programming and operation to support manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain documentation of all engineering processes and changes for compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or Creo is essential.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and tools is preferred.
  • Experience with root cause analysis methodologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GD&T standards and application in design is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and controls is necessary.
  • Experience with Simulink LabVIEW Arduino CNC operations drafting and system design will be advantageous. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated Controls Engineer who can contribute to our innovative projects while growing professionally within our organization.

Pay: $3000.00 - $5000.00 per month
