Job Summary

Job Description:

Perform packaging operations as per the customer orders. Operate packaging machinery effectively to avoid any accidents. Ensure that machines are working properly and safely. Conduct minor repairs to packaging equipment. Safe and proper handling of hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with plant requirements and environmental regulations. Stock all raw materials needed for packaging (i.e. pallets slip sheets tape labels trash boxes ties etc.) Conduct general housekeeping Maintain Core Values: safety health and environmental highest ethical behavior and respect for people Achieving and maintaining production targets quality standards and equipment Support and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives

Skills/Experience:

Minimum of a High school diploma or GEDWork Experience 1-3 yearsWillingness and ability to work overtime including holidays weekends and on short notice call in as and ability to wear required PPE (personal protective equipment) such as steel toes hardhat protective eyewear face shields arc protective clothing and SCBA (self-contained breathing apparatus).Willing and able to work in a high-hazard and able to lift up to 50 pounds climb stairs ladders columns and to stand walk stoop bend kneel crawl reach overhead hear and respond to alarms and possess visual acuity for close work.
