Job Description:
The Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the M&O phase of the Medicaid Data Integration project. Responsibilities include designing developing and maintaining ETL processes and pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) SQL and Python. The role requires strong analytical documentation and collaboration skills to ensure seamless integration and delivery of data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all ETL change requests and enhancements.
- Develop and maintain ETL jobs to bring in and load data from various sources.
- Build new ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Create and maintain stored procedures in SQL Server for data transformation and reporting.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop technical specifications.
- Document data interfaces in Interface Control Documents (ICDs).
- Collaborate with data engineers analysts and business users to ensure data integrity and performance.
Mandatory (Required) Skills:
- Strong ETL development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) for building and managing data pipelines.
- Proficiency in SQL (complex queries stored procedures performance tuning).
- Working experience with Python for data manipulation or automation.
- Experience with ICD documentation and data interface specifications.
- Knowledge of Medicaid or healthcare domain data structures and processes.
Highly Desired Skills:
- Prior experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or state healthcare data projects.
- Experience in data warehousing and data integration within cloud environments (Azure preferred).
- Familiarity with Power BI ADF Data Flows or other Azure data services.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices in data projects.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder and cross-team collaboration.
