Enterprise Integration Department focuses on systems integration within the entire ROCKWOOL Group. Delivering maintaining and governing internal and external integration services on modern flexible technologies and platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Lead Factory Integration to lead a team responsible for designing and implementing integration in and between factory systems and core enterprise platforms such as ERP Systems and other global applications. This role is focusing on enabling seamless data and process flow in the factory to and between cloud-based enterprise systems to multiple factory environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical integration skills with leadership and mentoring capabilities to drive the companys Factory of the Future initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage a team of talented integration developers in Asia and Europe.
Provide clear guidance direction and mentorship to ensure strong technical and personal growth within the team.
Conduct capacity planning and resource allocation across multiple global and factory integration initiatives.
Foster a collaborative innovative and conducive working environment.
Conduct quarterly performance reviews and provide constructive actionable feedback.
Identify and address skill gaps through training coaching and hands-on mentorship.
Technical Leadership & Project Delivery:
Serve as the technical lead and solution designer for factory integration projects connecting on-premise and cloud systems.
Design and implement end-to-end integration solutions between global enterprise platforms (e.g. ERP WMS Enterprise Data Platform) to multiple factory systems and integration between various systems in the factory.
Utilize integration technologies such as iPaaS Kafka and API/microservices for scalable real-time and event-driven data exchanges.
Collaborate with architects IT OT and business stakeholders to define integration strategies and standards.
Manage multiple projects ensuring adherence to architecture principles cybersecurity standards and business timelines.
Integration Focus Areas:
Integrate global ERP warehouse and logistics systems with shop-floor applications sensors PLCs and automation layers.
Enable bi-directional data flow between factory systems and enterprise systems.
Design solutions that leverage both on-premise and cloud integration components for hybrid factory ecosystems.
Work with vendors and partners to ensure system compatibility reliability and performance.
Escalation & Issue Resolution:
Handle escalations related to integration failures or system connectivity issues across global and factory environments.
Maintain and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operational Level Agreements (OLAs).
Collaborate with global IT factory operations and support teams to identify and resolve integration bottlenecks.
Proactively monitor and optimize system integration performance.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce standards and governance for both global-to-factory and factory-level integrations.
Continuously assess and enhance integration design patterns focusing on performance reliability and scalability.
Promote automation self-service integration frameworks and reusable components.
Ensure documentation traceability and monitoring mechanisms are in place for all integration flows.
THIS IS WHAT YOU OFFER
Technical & Functional Expertise:
Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms (e.g. Informatica Boomi MuleSoft Azure Integration Services) Kafka and microservices-based APIs.
Familiarity with industrial communication and integration protocols (OPC UA MQTT REST SOAP etc.).
Proven experience integrating on-premise systems with cloud and edge environments.
Deep knowledge of hybrid integration patterns real-time streaming and event-driven architectures.
Awareness of cybersecurity and compliance standards in manufacturing and IT integration contexts is a plus.

Bachelors degree in computer science Engineering Automation or related field.
5 years of experience in enterprise or factory integration including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Proven experience designing and implementing hybrid integration between cloud and on-premise systems.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across IT and factory operations.
Experience managing and mentoring technical teams across multiple domains.
Proven track record of successfully delivering integration projects.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices is a plus.
Fluently communicating in English (verbally and writing).
Open mind and positive can-do attitude.
Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Willing to travel.
