Job Summary
As the Vice President in the Acquisitions and Strategic Investment Control Management team you will support the ASI function by promoting early compliance and operational risk identification ensuring a sustainable and disciplined end-to-end control environment and partnering with the business to ensure timely issue remediation. You will focus on robust governance timely reporting and escalation of exceptions to Senior Leadership collaborating with key stakeholders to enhance control processes and contribute to strategic projects ensuring robust risk management practices. This role is integral to maintaining a strong control environment and promoting continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
- 8 years of experience in financial services industry with background in controls audit SOX compliance quality assurance operational risk management or compliance or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business related function / operation.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and building trust through diligent work.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments effectively.
- Capacity to respond quickly to changing business needs and urgent requests.
- Knowledge of intelligent automation tools such as Tableau Python Alteryx or UI Path
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Knowledge of acquisitions and / or strategic investments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
