Job Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for aDesign Manager to join our Marketing Department on afull-time permanent basis located at Caulfield this role youll lead the visual identity of Melbourne Racing Club and its associated products and campaigns.

Working collaboratively across the business youll develop and deliver creative art and design assets that effectively support our commercial marketing and communication objectives.

As well as running elite horse racing at Caulfield Sportsbet Sandown and Mornington Racecourses we own 15 club and hotel venues under the Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG).

What will your responsibilities be

Lead creative direction and oversee production across all racing and non-racing campaigns
Develop bold audience-focused campaigns from concept to completion that reflect current trends
Build and refine scalable design processes that enable collaboration and consistency
Review campaign performance and apply insights to continually elevate creative work
Manage workflows briefs budgets freelancers and production timelines to ensure smooth delivery
Partner with internal stakeholders and external collaborators to achieve aligned creative outcomes
Mentor and inspire the design team fostering a culture of creativity growth and shared ideas

Qualifications Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design Creative Industries or related discipline
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role including project and team management
Proven experience leading a design team
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite After Effects and related creative technologies
Experience in UX/UI principles social media design and animation (highly desirable)
Experience in sports or events and general racing knowledge advantageous
Understanding of branding principles
Excellent communication management and leadership skills
