Position Summary:
The Install Assistant supports the Lead Installer/Installation Crew in the safe and efficient installation of heating ventilation and air conditioning systems. This role is entry-level and provides hands-on training in the HVAC trade while ensuring high-quality service to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the installation of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems including ductwork furnaces condensers and ventilation equipment.
Load unload and stage equipment tools and materials needed for each job.
Measure cut and assemble ductwork or piping under supervision.
Support lead installer with start-up testing and customer walkthroughs as needed.
Provide excellent customer service by being professional respectful and courteous.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous construction mechanical or HVAC experience is a plus
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying conditions (heat cold confined spaces heights).
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn trade skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Valid drivers license
