Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking a forward-thinking and experienced Director to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) function. This role is critical to safeguarding our global digital ecosystem by ensuring secure efficient and compliant access to systems data and applications. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset deep technical expertise and a passion for building scalable identity solutions that support business agility and security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM strategy aligned with enterprise security compliance and operational goals

  • Lead and mentor a team of IAM professionals and engineers responsible for access provisioning identity lifecycle management and authentication services

  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of key technologies including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Single Sign-On (SSO) Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM)

  • Collaborate with IT HR Legal and business units to ensure identity policies and controls meet regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX GDPR NIST CSF)

  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance user experience and operational efficiency

  • Establish and enforce governance frameworks policies and procedures for identity and access management

  • Monitor and respond to emerging threats vulnerabilities and compliance risks within the IAM landscape

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on identity-related risks trends and investments

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Security or a related field (Masters preferred).

  • 12 years of dynamic experience in identity and access management with large multinational organization (>15K employee base is preferred).

  • Confirmed experience implementing and leading enterprise IAM platforms and tools.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g. SOX GDPR NIST).

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and handle complex projects.

  • Excellent communication stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

  • Experience with the following products services and tools: Ping SailPoint CyberArk Okta Seclore PKI Cloud security

  • Vendor-specific certifications (e.g. Okta SailPoint CyberArk) are a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters Level Degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience OR

  • Bachelors Level Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience

Base Pay Range: $171600.00 - $300300.00 Annually

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas-KLA

The range displayed reflects the pay for this position in the primary location identified in this posting.
