Job Summary

We are looking for native speakers of Portuguese to participate in a short recording project that simulates real-life conversations in noisy environments. The recordings will help improve AI speech technology in diverse acoustic conditions.

Project Overview:

Participants will work in pairs to record a 5-minute conversation using our online recording platform (Workbench). The conversation should sound natural and take place in a setting with consistent background noise (e.g. café office or home with TV/music playing).

You will receive clear setup instructions and short training before recording.

Tasks:

Join the projects recording platform via phone.
Record one conversation (510 minutes) following the provided scenario.
Maintain clear natural speech without reading from a script.
Ensure background noise is present but does not overpower speech.
Avoid overlapping speech and personal data.

Requirements:

Native Portuguese speaker (currently living in Portugal preferred).
Quiet but naturally noisy environment (e.g. café park office).
Mobile phone or computer with microphone and stable internet connection.
Ability to follow simple recording instructions in English.
Must complete both roles (Host and Attendee) within the pair.
