Job Summary

About Project:
  • Large-scale project for Global Insurance company

Role and responsibilities:
  • Fluent in reading writing and conversing in both Japanese & English languages to establish good coordination and communication with Customer Onsite and Offshore teams
  • Hands on experience in AS400 tasks and maintenance activities
  • Actively involve in the primary responsibilities that include but not limited to:
    - Alerts events and Incident monitoring management & handling
    - Routine and Adhoc task execution tracking and reporting
    - Collect and store log data and create reports as required
    - Create and update documentation for SOP Runbook Catalogues etc
    - Follow security standards practices auditing and monitoring procedures disaster recovery and component recovery
  • Actively contribute towards various Transformation initiatives (Process maturity Performance optimization etc.) to achieve the project goals
  • Collaborate with Infra IT and business teams to ensure seamless application availability and performance
  • Participate in performance reviews technical documentation and knowledge sharing


Requirements

Must:
  • Must have more than 5 years of IT experience in AS400 Server tasks and maintenance projects
  • Ability to effectively coordinate with Customer SMEs Onsite and Offshore teams
  • Actively involve in Application transition and stabilization phases by aligning to Japan (JST) working hours
Nice to have:
  • Exposure on IBM iSeries architecture/components ITIL Agile methodology DevOps
  • Insurance domain knowledge is added advantage
Language:
  • Japanese: JLPT N2 - Fluent in reading writing and conversing in Japanese with native speakers
  • English: Business level (speaking reading writing)
