We are currently hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Endoscopy for a hospital in Galway Ireland.
This is a permanent full-time position.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and management to the Endoscopy Unit ensuring the delivery of high-quality evidence-based patient care.
Oversee the daily operations of the unit managing staff allocation patient flow and resources effectively.
Support and supervise nursing staff promoting professional development and continuous learning.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies clinical guidelines and national standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maintain safe and efficient patient services.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits to enhance service delivery.
Manage infection prevention and control practices within the Endoscopy Unit.
Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Provide support in the planning and coordination of endoscopy procedures and patient care pathways.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
Be registered or eligible for registration in the General Division of the NMBI Nurse Register.
Hold a BSc in Nursing (preferred); a management qualification is also desirable.
Have a minimum of 5 years of nursing experience including 34 years in endoscopy nursing or a related specialty.
Demonstrate strong clinical leadership managerial and customer care skills.
Exhibit a proactive approach to planning and effective coordination of resources.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Have the ability to motivate and support staff.
Show flexibility in work practices and adaptability to service needs.
