Production Operatives (x7) Based Peterborough

Monday to Friday Days Role Rotating Earlys & Afternoons 13 Week Temp-to-Perm

13.54p/h 31 Days Holiday Overtime Paid at Time-and-a-half & Double Time

5D are working with a growing company who have developed a method of recycling ash from power stations ensuring that household waste doesnt go to landfill and the process is carbon negative. They have recently signed an agreement with one of the UKs largest waste to energy plants which is significantly increasing throughput and requires an additional shift.

What the Role will Involve:

Working on a production line sorting metals that drop through the sortation equipment.
Cleaning down areas as part of a team to remove excess dust and ensure the machinery can work effectively and efficiently.
Working in a dusty environment which requires using masks and ventilation equipment.
Working on a rotating Monday to Friday shift pattern:
Mornings: 05:45-14:15
Afternoons: 14:00-22:00
Working safely in an environment with heavy plant operating which includes regular drugs and alcohol testing.

Requirements

What we are looking for in a candidate:

Willingness to work in the environment.
UK Driving licence & car/transport due to location.
