DescriptionWe are currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer to join our long term investment and planning team based anywhere within Essential Energys operational footprint.
About You
We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in electrical engineering preferably related to network regulation or planning with the ability and engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders through a consultative approach. You will have the ability to understand business wide implications of strategic decisions made during the formulation of each Regulatory Proposal as well as provide expert advice and direction to the Executive Leadership Team as to the impact of business decisions made within the Regulatory Period.
About the role
Reporting to the Future Asset Investment and Planning Manager as the Senior Engineer you will work with a broad cross-section of internal stakeholders to assist in the development of Essential Energys OPEX and CAPEX requirements for system capex (assets) to deliver on the Corporate Strategy and customer expectations whilst proactively engaging with external stakeholders such as Regulatory bodies on network risk current and future network investment needs. This role will be key in translating regulatory principles into business as usual working with other workstreams in improving the business to operate in a manner that aligns to regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Engineering to satisfy Professional Membership criterion of Engineers Australia or other Professional Body as aligned to the Washington Accord.
Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory industry and business required licenses authorisations and other such certificates deemed necessary for the role.
WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Certificate (or willing to obtain).
