Were looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for excellence and a strong background in quality systems inspection processes and team this role youll guide a team of quality technicians ensure all inspection activities meet AS9100 standards and help drive continuous improvement across engineering manufacturing and supply chain operations.

ð What Youll Do:
- Lead mentor and develop a team of 4-6 quality technicians ensuring proper training and competency in GD&T inspection tools and measurement methods.
- Establish and improve inspection methods conformance procedures and process controls in coordination with Engineering and Operations.
- Oversee daily incoming in-process and final inspections to meet AS9100 and customer requirements.
- Implement first-article inspections sampling plans and statistical process controls (SPC).
- Support corrective actions for product and manufacturing process nonconformances by providing inspection data analysis and recommendations.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure inspection requirements align with design intent.
- Evaluate and improve measurement systems calibration compliance and inspection tools.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality Assurance to evaluate supplier quality performance and support vendor qualification through inspection and verification results.
- Monitor and report on key quality metrics (defect rates inspection throughput backlog etc.).
- Develop and enforce standard work instructions for inspection and conformance tasks.
- Promote a culture of quality accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
ð What Were Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in engineering manufacturing or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 710 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing leadership (aerospace/defense preferred).
- Deep working knowledge of ISO or AS9100 standards and conformance practices.
- Strong experience with metrology CMM SPC FAI and measurement system analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and build high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- ASQ certifications (CQE CMQ/OE) strongly preferred.
