Job Summary
PPG has an exciting opportunity available for a Procurement Operations Specialist to join our Aerospace team.
This role can be based out of any of the following Aerospace ASC locations: Atlanta (Kennesaw) Los Angeles (Valencia) Philadelphia Dallas or Indianapolis. You will be required to be onsite for the initial training period before beginning the hybrid work schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Purchase order (PO) management: pull PO reports and place orders as scheduled
Review supplier acknowledgements and cost updates and update system
Complete assigned tickets promptly and accurately
Maintain approved supplier list
Run late order report and provide updates
Send a list of orders with tracking information to receiving department for coordination
Prioritize urgent issues and communicate any delays proactively
Collaborate with analysts and receiving teams to ensure data accuracy and updates
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelors degree in supply chain or related field preferred
1 year of supply chain planning or procurement experience
Knowledge of QAD and forecasting methodology preferred
Aerospace experience preferred
