Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare services to theGeorgia Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-timeCertified Medical Assistant to join our team at theBainbridge Probation Substance Abuse Centerlocated inBainbridge Georgia.
Pay Range: $17-$22
TheMedical Assistantworks under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs implementing orders for diagnostic lab test and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs maintaining and cleaning medical equipment and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs as assigned.
Qualifications
TheMedical Assistantworks under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs implementing orders for diagnostic lab test and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Must be able to perform EKGs take vital signs collect and prepare lab specimens perform lab draws perform basic lab tests and have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Current Georgia Medical Assistant license/certification
- Current CPR
- Phlebotomy Certification Required
- Corrections experience preferred not required
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Days Monday-Thursday 10 hour shifts 7am-5pm. No weekends
