JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Lead FMS Account Coordinator
Salary: $58000 - $62500 per yr
Reporting To: FMS Supervisor
Work Type: Remote (Must be based in California)
POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead FMS Account Coordinator is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the customer service department ensuring high-quality service delivery and acting as a liaison between customers internal teams and management. This role involves supervising customer service representatives resolving escalated issues monitoring performance metrics and implementing process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The position is intended for those who can handle fast-paced environments while producing quality work
QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years experience in a lead or supervisory position preferred.
Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication/phone skills
Strong organizational prioritizing and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Ability to work with substantial amounts of data and make correct judgments.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
Proficiency with Word Excel and Outlook (or similar e-mail software applications)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide excellent customer service when interacting with vendors and regional center case managers regarding referrals authorizations and payments including communicating with clients and family members.
Supervise coach and support team members.
Primary point of contact for case managers vendors clients and family members.
Process review track referrals and authorizations.
Maintain input update research and analyze patient account activity to maintain accuracy.
Reviews patient accounts identify any missing information follows up and corrects accordingly.
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for the smooth operation of this company.
Working closely with both regional center case managers and accounting departments.
Prepares reports as needed for census tracking and identifying on-reconciled authorizations.
Work with your manager to identify discrepancies in processes and procedures while seeking opportunities for growth and improvement within the department.
Assist with the training for both new hires and ongoing training that is needed within the department.
Maintain a small caseload of their own.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Stand sit talk hear reach stoop kneel and use of hands and fingers to operate computer telephone and keyboard on a frequent basis (up to 75% of the time).
Close vision requirements due to computer work.
Light to moderate lifting may be required (up to 25lbs).
