Note: this is a remote position that can be based anywhere in the US.

This work spans from discovery and installation to management and supportand by building tools that empower third-party developers to create integrations and AI agents on HubSpot. This is a high-impact systems-level design role where prototyping is how we think communicate and align across complex products. The Ecosystem is how HubSpot grows with its customers and partners. As we move toward an AI-native future this role ensures our integrations agents and developer tools feel seamless cohesive and deeply human. Prototyping is how youll leadby showing what the future looks like and inspiring others to build it.
What youll do:
- Lead the design vision for the full ecosystem experience across discovery installation configuration usage and support. This is a significant surface area so you should be experienced leading design projects across a complex multi threaded surface area.
- Prototype early and oftento explore align and de-risk ideas before theyre built. Use prototypes as the primary tool for storytelling and strategy alignment across PM Eng and DevRel.
- Weave cohesive experiences across product surfaces partnering closely with Developer Platform App Marketplace CRM Core and AI Product teams.
- Apply deep systems thinking ensuring extensibility scalability and usability across developer and end-user touchpoints.
- Drive product strategy through journey mapping service blueprints and high-fidelity prototypes that shownot tellthe future experience.
- Mentor designers across the org to elevate craft prototyping maturity and systems literacy.
- Measure design impact through metrics tied to activation adoption and CSAT.
- Advocate for both users and builders ensuring HubSpots ecosystem delivers value for customers and partners alike.
You might be a fit if you
- Have experience designing complex SaaS or platform ecosystems.
- Have led end-to-end experiences that cross multiple surfaces or product areas.
- Are an expert in interactive prototyping (Figma Lovable or code-based tools) and use prototypes to think through and communicate systems.
- Are a systems thinker who naturally simplifies complex architectures into clear connected experiences.
- Thrive in ambiguous cross-functional environments and can operate independently to set direction.
- Have developer-facing design experience or deep curiosity about APIs SDKs and extensibility platforms.
- Have strong product senseyou understand how design decisions influence adoption retention and long-term ecosystem health.
- Are excited by AI and automation and curious about how AI agents reshape platform experiences.
- Care deeply about craftfrom conceptual frameworks down to polished interactions.
How youll grow:
- Youll help shape HubSpots AI-native ecosystem strategy for integrations and agents.
- Youll influence patterns and frameworks across UX.
- Youll collaborate directly with product and design leadership to push the boundaries of extensibility and design innovation.
- Youll grow as a design strategist influencing product direction through experience visualization.

- Integration discovery install conversion
- Time-to-first-value for new installs
- Developer build/ship velocity on platform tools
- CSAT/UX task success on key ecosystem flows
- Support tickets related to install/config/permissions
Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary on-target commission for employees in eligible roles and annual bonus targets under HubSpots bonus plan for eligible addition to cash compensation some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpots equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills experience qualifications and other job-related reasons.
