As a strategic leader this role has the following key responsibilities:
- Set and lead supply chain strategy for the business unit covering sourcing supplier partnerships logistics and materials management.
- Develop scalable frameworks and best practices to be rolled out across all business units globally.
- Build and strengthen supplier relationships to evolve from transactional buying to long-term strategic partnerships.
- Lead supplier development initiatives focused on improving quality cost competitiveness delivery performance and sustainability.
- Drive co-innovation with suppliers to introduce new technologies materials and processes that create competitive advantage.
- Optimize global sourcing strategies to balance cost risk and resilience across the supply base.
- Oversee logistics and distribution networks to ensure efficient compliant and cost-effective flow of materials and products.
- Champion compliance and sustainability across supplier operations contracts and trade regulations.
- Leverage digital tools and analytics to improve visibility supplier performance monitoring and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global leaders to align supply chain strategies with business growth new product introductions and capacity expansion.
- Develop mentor and lead high-performing supply chain teams within the BU while fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the enterprise.
- Serve as a global thought leader to influence enterprise-wide supply chain strategy and continuous improvement.
Qualifications :
- 15 years of progressive experience in supply chain management within a global manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale complex supply chain organizations across multiple regions.
- Deep experience in supplier development strategic sourcing and building long-term supplier partnerships.
- Demonstrated success in driving supply chain transformation digitalization and process standardization across global operations.
- Strong background in logistics trade compliance and navigating international regulations (import/export tariffs export controls).
- Experience managing risk and building resilient supply chains including business continuity planning.
- Expertise in supplier negotiation contract management and cost optimization
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP etc.) and supply chain visibility platforms
- Demonstrated ability to lead sustainability initiatives and integrate ESG considerations into supply chain strategies.
- Professional certifications (e.g. APICS CSCP ISM CPSM Lean Six Sigma PMP) are a strong plus
