We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Manager Architecture and Innovation Life & Pensions who is ready to make a this role you will shape the digital future of our Life & Pensions Business Unit (L&P) bringing together vision leadership and innovation.
What you are going to do
As Manager Architecture and Innovation Life & Pensions you play a key role in shaping the IT architecture for the NN Life & Pensions (L&P) Business Unit. You are responsible for developing a future-proof architecture overseeing its implementation through portfolio management and driving technological innovation including the adoption of AI.
You act as the connecting link between the architects of NN Group IT and the architects of the various business lines and labels (Pensions Services AZL BeFrank). In addition you represent Life & Pensions in NN-wide architecture bodies and work closely with the Chief Architect of NN Group IT.
As Manager Architecture and Innovation Life & Pensions within NN Architecture you are the right hand of the CIO L&P and are also responsible for promoting technological innovation and translating architectural vision into tangible results.
Architecture Development: You shape the IT architecture of Life & Pensions aligned with our strategic objectives
Leadership and Connection: You lead the architecture team consisting of an Enterprise Architect Technology Domain Architect and programme and portfolio manager. You also work closely with architects within L&P labels and NN Group
Portfolio Management: Together with your team you monitor the progress of architecture initiatives and link them to strategic portfolio and programme management
Innovation: You drive technological innovation with a focus on Gen AI and other emerging technologies
Governance: You manage the L&P Architecture Board and strengthen the architecture community within L&P
Stakeholder Management: You are a strong sparring partner for the CIO L&P NN Enterprise Architect and other senior stakeholders

Who you are
Academic working and thinking level preferably a completed Masters degree in IT
At least 8 years of relevant experience in architecture and IT leadership
Experience in complex matrix organisations and affinity with pensions and life insurance
Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
Strong collaboration skills combined with decisiveness and a clear sense of direction
Who you will work with
You are part of the IT L&P Management Team led by the CIO L&P. This team consists of senior IT managers from the business lines the Senior Manager Risk & Security the Business Controller the HR Lead and Management Support. You work closely with the architecture and portfolio team and are actively involved in various architecture meetings.
Your key sparring partners are the CIO Life & Pensions the NN Enterprise Architects and the senior IT Managers within Life & Pensions.
