The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Flight Instructor (part-time) to join our team. The Flight Instructor (part-time) will provide theoretical and practical instruction to pilots track training progress and maintain safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Conducting flight training sessions in both aircraft and simulators.
Developing individualized flight training programs based on pilot needs.
Instruct pilots on aviation theory and navigation.
Ensure pilots adhere to safety procedures during flight operations.
Maintain accurate records of training progress and training activities.
Conduct pre-flight briefings and post-flight debriefings.
Conduct flight reviews and proficiency checks for licensed pilots.
Assist in the development and updating of training materials and curricula.
Stay current with aviation regulations technology and best practices.
Coordinate with maintenance personnel to ensure aircraft are in good working order.
Manage scheduling and administrative tasks associated with flight training.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Aviation Aeronautical Science or a related field.
Experience with various types of aircraft including single-engine and multi-engine planes.
Previous experience as a commercial or airline pilot.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
U.S. citizenship is required
Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
