Safety, Health & Environment Specialist V

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Safety Health & Environment Specialist V to join our team in Jeddah Saudi this senior-level position you will play a crucial role in developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive safety health and environmental programs across our organizations operations.

• Develop implement and maintain advanced safety health and environmental (SHE) programs systems and procedures aligned with local regulations and international best practices
• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop innovative strategies to mitigate potential hazards in the workplace
• Lead and mentor a team of SHE professionals fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment
• Analyze complex SHE data and prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory agencies
• Investigate incidents accidents and near-misses implementing corrective actions and preventive measures
• Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to integrate SHE considerations into all aspects of the organizations operations
• Design and deliver comprehensive SHE training programs for employees at all levels
• Stay informed about changes in local and international SHE regulations ensuring the organization remains compliant and up-to-date
• Represent the organization in interactions with regulatory bodies and industry associations
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve SHE performance
• Implement innovative technologies and best practices to enhance the organizations SHE management systems

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety Environmental Science Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in safety health and environmental management preferably in a construction or industrial setting
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety and environmental regulations
• Familiarity with international safety standards such as ISO 45001
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SHE programs
• Experience in overseeing various trades and operations in large-scale projects
• Valid drivers license and ability to travel to multiple project sites as needed
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent professional certification
• NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or similar qualification is highly desirable
• Proficiency in using safety management software and data analysis tools
• Demonstrated ability to influence and drive cultural change in organizations
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations
• Experience in conducting thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses
