Description

This dual-role position involves both Site Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) responsibilities and general labour duties. It is a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient flow of traffic around work zones as well as contributing to various labour tasks to support Drillcos projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Implement monitor and manage Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) to ensure safety of workers pedestrians and motorists.
Set up maintain and remove traffic management equipment (cones signs barriers).
Control and direct traffic flow safely around work sites.
Conduct site inspections identify hazards and ensure compliance with H&S standards.
Perform manual labour tasks including lifting carrying excavation and material handling.
Assist with site setup deliveries and operation of construction vehicles or equipment.

Skills And Experiences

Current STMS qualification
Proven experience in traffic management and/or construction labouring
Strong understanding of health safety and environmental regulations
Ability to read and implement TMPs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical strength and stamina for manual tasks
Full NZ Driver Licence (Class 1 minimum; Class 2 advantageous)
