Job Summary
The opportunity
Kinetic Specialised Resources (KSR) provide premium workforce transportation services to the mining and resources sector. We are currently looking for a dynamic commercially minded leader to join us as General Manager leading our Central Qld and Mackay operations.
The role
As General Manager youll be responsible for the operational and commercial performance of our KSR/Central Queensland business unit. Youll lead a passionate team manage assets and service delivery and ensure safety compliance AND financial growth - all while driving the Kinetic strategy and vision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage regional operations and team performance
- Ensure safe reliable and compliant service delivery
- Drive customer satisfaction and financial growth
- Build strong stakeholder relationships especially in the resources sector
- Monitor KPIs and report on business performance
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation
- Oversee fleet standards and collaborate on maintenance
- Lead commercial negotiations and identify growth opportunities
- Support a hands-on team-oriented culture
What Youll Bring
- Tertiary qualification in Business or related field or significant experience in Transport & Logistics Operations
- Proven commercial acumen and ability to drive growth in competitive environments
- Strong project management skills across budgeting coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment
- MR licence or willingness to obtain (bus driving required)
- Valid State Driving Authority and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- High computer literacy (MS Office and internal systems)
