SNAP is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual to join our Housing Services Core as a Technical Services Coordinator. This key leadership role oversees the daily operations of our Weatherization team ensuring energy efficiency safety and quality standards are met across all projects.

What Youll Do
As the Technical Services Coordinator youll:
Supervise train and mentor a skilled team of Weatherization technical staff.
Manage day-to-day field operations ensuring jobs are completed safely efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
Lead safety programs and ensure all staff maintain compliance with health and safety requirements.
Monitor job sites track materials and labor costs and inspect completed work for quality control.
Collaborate with energy auditors project managers and purchasing staff to coordinate workflow and maintain compliance with funding guidelines.
Maintain records review contractor bids approve change orders and verify completion of contracted work.
Represent SNAP at community events and uphold our mission of creating opportunities and building stronger neighborhoods.
What Were Looking For
Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a technical construction or energy-efficiency field.
Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Word and related tools for tracking and reporting.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Required: Some combination of higher education and/or experience totaling seven years in building science construction management energy management mechanical engineering or related field. This must include at least two years of supervisory experience.
Preferred: Some combination of higher education and/or experience totaling 12 years in building science construction management energy management mechanical engineering or related field with four years of supervisory experience.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Commitment to supporting low-income and vulnerable populations maintain strict confidentiality and possess the ability to work with a diverse population of clients contractors and vendors.
- Excellent managerial skills including planning delegation and assessment time management staff selection supervision and evaluation and conflict resolution
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to de-escalate when necessary
- Strong technology skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience utilizing databases for documentation. (Skills testing may be conducted)
- Knowledge of building codes safety standards or willingness to learn on the job
- Thorough knowledge of carpentry electrical and plumbing techniques used in home repairs
- Capable of reading understanding and applying regulations and program guidelines track compliance and hold staff accountable to requirements.
- Skills in monitoring evaluation and improving current production levels and effectively addressing quality control issues
- Knowledge of and ability to implement WISHA/OSHA safety regulations
- Proficient with project management and able to coordinate schedules logistics workflows and priorities across multiple projects
- Able to troubleshoot challenges and respond to feedback constructively
Training and Certifications
- Must possess a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Obtain BPI Building Analyst Technical (BA-T) certification within 3 months of employment.
- Earn BPI Auditor certification within 12 months of receiving the BA-T certification.
- Achieve BPI Quality Control Inspector (QCI) certification within 6 months of receiving the Auditor certification.
- Complete Lead-Based Paint training (provided by the organization).
- Participate in ongoing safety training as required.
Work Environment/Physical Activities:
This position is performed both in an office setting and in the field. This position also requires local travel to work sites and working in seasonal heat and cold. Some work is conducted in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces. May require working on rooftops and other potentially hazardous areas. May be exposed to dusty wet muddy poorly ventilated and occasionally unsanitary environments. May be exposed to fumes and substances including paint solvents and other materials.
