UM Shore Medical Center at Easton a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS) is seeking a full-time General Cardiologist to join a reputable-established practice that has been operational for 45 years. Opportunity highlights include:

• Growing Team seeking to meet growing volumes
  • 6 General and 3 Interventional
  • 2 Inpatient APP care extenders
  • 5 Outpatient APP care extenders
• Inpatient & Outpatient Setting M-F 8 am - 5pm
• Call 1:6 shared with group 6 weekdays per month1 weekend every 5-6 weeks
• Responsible for interpretation of echocardiograms EKGs stress testing and zio monitoring.
• Practice includes consultations Nuclear Cardiology Echocardiography Pacemaker Clinic and Heart Failure Clinic
• Primary angioplasty available with 3 interventional cardiologists on staff
• 24/7 in-house intensivist coverage

UM Shore Regional Health which was formed in July of 2013 connects residents and visitors to primary care and specialty physicians emergency medical services and a coordinated system of prevention diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications :

1. Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required. 
2. Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within Cardiology
3. Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
4.  Possesses and maintains if applicable appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
5. Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
6. Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

• Annual salary: $556470 .  The posted compensation reflects the range based on current MGMA and SullivanCotter benchmarks. Actual compensation will be commensurate with the physicians experience training and qualifications

• Other Compensation : generous sign-on package including your choice of a $20000$25000 sign-on bonus or a $50000 housing allowance toward the purchase of a home in your first year. We also offer relocation assistance up to $10000 and a competitive production bonusall designed to support your transition and long-term success.
