Classroom Assistant (Elop) William H. Frazier

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is a K-8 district.

The successful candidate must be able to accomplish thefollowing responsibilities in a friendly efficient and professional manner.

The Classroom Assistant will:

• Perform paraprofessionalinstructional activities
• Provide intensified learning experiences for students.
• Provide a variety of clerical and supportive tasks for instructional personnel.
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

DETAILS FOR THIS POSITION:

• WORK SCHEDULE:5 hours/day (1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.); 5 days/week (Monday-Friday)
• BENEFITS: Benefit package includes Health & Welfare paid sick leave vacation and holidays (currently observing 14 paid holidays a year).
• REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING:Equivalent to the completionof the twelfth grade; and either an Associates Degree of Arts (AA) or have completed 48 college/university semester units or pass the FUESD proficiency test for this classification; experience workingwith diverse groups and cultures; one (1) year of paid or volunteer experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is highly desirable supplemented by courses in childcare supervision psychology or guidance; or any combination of training and experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities.
